Asisat Oshoala - Change the World
Don't change your dream - change the world. Ever since she was a young girl, Asisat Oshoala has been a powerful presence on the pitch. With years of dedication and strength, she won Footballer of the Year in 2014 and is a prized player for the Nigerian Football Team and FC Barcelona.
Her greatest strength, is her dedication to paving the way for future generations, such as setting up the Asisat Oshoala Foundation to help young girls to pursue their dreams. We created a portrait film which celebrates Oshoala as the role model she is. It follows her challenges and dreams for the future of football and the women who take to the sport.
With over 2 million views and 8.1 million impressions, the film proved to be the most engaged piece for Nike in EMEA, and second best performing piece globally. With 49% sell-through on campaign styles within 2 weeks, Asisat’s style and leadership have raised the bar for women in sports in Africa.
