MTV Bump
When MTV launched, it was the voice of a generation, but today’s viewers have lots of different ways to make their voices heard. So, as part of the network’s global rebrand, we proposed something daring: turning control of the airwaves over to its creative, socially-savvy audience.
MTV Bump is a digital platform that lets people around the world create video art breaks. Adequately named "bumps", these user generated creations run in between commercials.
Create a bump with the Uploader tool using your Instagram and Vine videos or with the Canvas tool, which features exclusive campaign graphics. From the point of creation to approval a bump can make it on air in as little as two hours.
Over time, MTV Bump will expand with more tools to create different kinds of “bumps.” It’s an ongoing, two-way conversation between the network and its audience.
